On Friday 6th October 2017, the children in Year 6 enjoyed a tremendous weekend away at Dobroyd Castle. They were incredibly busy canoeing, caving and climbing. Zooming down the zip wire and flying through the air on the giant swing. Visiting the Dungeon of Doom, solving the Quest and an encounter with the Piranha pool. As ever the children were a credit to school and their families.
On Friday 10th March our Year 4 children set off for an action packed weekend at Hinning House in the Lake District. Hinning House is a purpose-built centre in a superb location, in the beautiful Duddon Valley, close to Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain. During their stay the children took part in various outdoor activities which included rock scrambling, climbing, hill walking, orienteering, shelter building and a farm visit.
