Tapestry of Music

On Wednesday 15th January 2014, Glynis and Brian Radford, founders of Tapestry of Music, came into school to present a wide range of early music from the Tudor period to the children.  Using some of their collection of over 1,000 fascinating early and ethnic instruments, including harps, lutes, saz, oud, hurdy-gurdy, shawms, bagpipes, nykelharpa, crumhorns among others, their philosophy is to present programmes in an informal manner, bringing the music truly alive. This is enhanced by their fine costumes.
